New Years Resolutions

So Momma says hoomans like to make New Years resolutions each year. Eventually this is the stuff they think they should do. Usually it's stuff like losing weight and quitting smoking. Well I'm a trim doggie thanks to my picky eating habits and the hoomans limiting my cookies and I don't smoke. So, I thought I'd come up with 7 different resolutions of my own.

1. Get more exercise - I do love yoga!

2. Go on more hikes this summer (my growth plates will be closed by then, so I can)
3. Make New Friends
4. Be less stressed
5. Get organized
6.. Travel to new places
7. Learn to swim

What are your New Years Resolutions?

Christmas is Exhuasting

Christmas was so much fun! I got lots of new pressies from Santa and my family! I spent all day Christmas Eve playing with my cousins Rooso (lab mix) and Diesel I was so tired on Christmas. I actually slept during Christmas up to Grammy and Grampy's. I couldn't help it....

I'm so tired.

Opening Gifts....

My new crazy piggy with 12 squeakers!!

I even helped Diesel open his stocking....

Christmas was so much fun, I can't wait to do it again next year!

I have an ouchie

I have an ouchie, so momma took me to the vet. Turns out my pee pee got in the way when I jumped over something (most likely a fallen tree in the woods). So my pee pee got caught and I scraped in front of it. Then I licked it too much and caused all this chafing.

I've got infection fighting ointment now. I should be fine in a couple days.
Poor me and my big pee -pee.

Snow Days

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile and haven't been visiting my doggie bloggy friends, It's all Momma's fault. She left me with Dad and went to some place called New York City with my Aunt and Uncles. Something about it being a sibling trip made it so I stayed home. She's back now and we'll be catching up in a few days.

But, I must show you some video of all the snow we've been getting! I absolutely love snow and I guess that's a good thing because Maine gets a bunch! I've been having a problem with scraping my legs and feet on the icy snow cause I'm big and fall through. Momma asked Mango's Momma and I guess the only thing to do is keep my backyard shoveled or snowblowed because I'm a big whimp. And no way and I wearing boots!

Anyway I love playing in the snow just watch....

O' Christmas Tree & an Early Gift

I'm not really sure what all the Christmas stuff is about since this is really my first Christmas. My Momma & Dad brought me home last year on the 26th of December so I haven't actually experienced Christmas yet.

First we went out to get a tree.

I had to look for the perfect one....

Sniff... sniff... sniff....

After we selected the tree we put it in the truck to bring home. I supervised.
Then the hoomans brought the tree in the house? They are weird, trees belong outside. For some reason they don't want me to play in the tree. Oh well I chewed on some of the sticks that fell off, they don't taste very fresh.

Then the hoomans put flashing things any shiny doggie toys on the tree. I choose to sit this one out.
When they were done they made me sit by the tree. I feel stupid sitting by the tree, but it pleases the hoomans, and they give me treats for doing it.

Christmas is weird, but I did get an early Christmas gift. Momma and Dad bought me a Kuranda bed. My bad self has been chewing up my blankets in my crate and this bed is suppose to be indestructible.

Hmmm... is that a challenge?

Oh,, that's just the paper it came in..... never mind.

At night time I get a blanket and pillow since I don't chew anything at night......

It's pretty comfy...... maybe I'll be good and not chew or dig on it. I said maybe.

The big Race

A few weeks ago I went to a big Race! Don't worry I didn't actually do any running. We went to support my Auntie who was running 13 miles. Yeah, all at once - crazy huh? Anyways we went to cheer her on. The cool thing about this race was it was all girls! I was all worried when they said one lucky guy was in the race too, What a relief to find out they meant a hooman - not me! I know I'm a lucky dog but I wasn't gonna do any running.

There was lotsa stretching before the race started:

Momma says I'm very good at sneaking in pictures. LOL.
We watched the runners go by and told them good job - I just tried to look handsome.
Since the running was a long time I got to walk on the beach for awhile too. The runners had a beautiful fall day for their event so I soaked up the sun on the sand for awhile. I also took a big poop on the beach, Ha ha!
The race however was exhausting... I was tired just watching all the girls run. Towards the end we went back to the finish line to wait for my Auntie to cross it.

We are so proud of her! She finished the race, ran the whole way, didn't hurt herself, and met her goal! She didn't come in first, but she wasn't last either. I would have come in last, I was so tired just from watching all the running I slept the whole way home.

Photo challege - Body Part

This weeks challenge over a Danes Down Under is "body part." A skull counts as a body part right (even if it's fake?)
Umm, that's fake right? Right?

Oh ok....

Why I can't be Free

This is what happens when I have the supervised zoomies. Can you imagine what I'd do if I wasn't supervised? Momma says if I keep this up I'll be in my crate forever.
My bad.....

The "Yellow" Photo Challenge

For this weeks photo challenge over at Danes Down Under the theme is yellow. This was an easy one for me because this summer I got to ride on a school bus! How much more yellow can you get?
Why was I on a school bus you ask? Well, there was a festival that was closed off to cars so the only way people and doggies could get there was by walking or taking a shuttle. The shuttle was from the high school and they used the school buses. Momma and Dad took me on the bus versus walking because they didn't want me (or them) to get too tired by walking the extra 2 miles in to the festival. So, I got to ride on the school bus twice. I sat in the very back seat because that is where the bad kids sit, LOL.

Momma's Favorite Photo

For the Weekend Photo Challenge Momma said this is her favorite photo of me. I was just 13 weeks old here. It's her favorite because even though I was little you can see lots of expression and how much I am thinking. Plus I was a cutie. Momma has this picture as an 8 X 10 on our living room wall.

Today Grammy & Grampy came to visit and we had a birthday party.

We had dinner (hamburgers on the grill.....yummm). Then I got to open my presents:
