Woofstock & Staycation Winner

This Saturday was Woofstock and I was so excited about being there and getting to meet so many other doggies! Momma didn't take many pictures, (I know she takes like hundreds of pictures if I'm just sleeping - well she took barely any and there were so many cool dogs... hmph.) but here are a few of the big ones:

Bella the Dane

And this little fella is only 10 weeks - he's an Irish Wolfhound & Lab mix. So he counts as big cause he's gonna really grow!

At woofstock I got stage fright and couldn't perform my tricks, or bark loud, and I didn't give the judge a very good pawshake (cause he was a cat person and I could tell) ... I just layed down in the shade of the tent instead, I was just hot and the shade of the tent was comfy. But, I was a big winner for Largest Dog. It was easy cause I didn't have to do nothin'.

And I gots to pick a prize and Momma took the only "size appropriate" toy they had for me. Meet my Lobster - he's the bestest toy and I don't care about any other toys right now. He's got rope legs, a honker, 2 squeakers, a rattle , and 2 tags -- oops 1 tag now.

An Award that I have to share with Evil kitty brother

I got this pawesome award from my Friend Maggie Mae who is a jumpin' bean boxer. And from my friend Lucille - have you met her yet? She's Italian so she's from the land of pasta.

Now I's gonna tell you 7 things abouts me and then unfortunately Evil Kitty Brudder Patch will tell you 7 things about himself. I don't want to let him use my bloggie but Momma says I can't have Pupperoni's if I don't let him post.

Anyway 7 things about me!

1 - I was the first born in my litter!

2- I weigh 139 lbs and I am 37" tall to my whithers

3- I don't counter surf - Really a Dane that leaves things alone!

4- I'm scared of bunnies - I had one scare me at a particular pet store and I refuse to go in the door to that pet store.

5- I hate veggies - especially peas - If they show up in my foodable I spit them on the floor.

6- I go to bed a 7 pm most nights

7- I'm a big boy now and have spent the last 3 weeks loose in the house when Momma and Dad go to work - no more XPEN!

Now for Evil Kitty Brother Patch:

1- I'm a 15 year old Black & White Short hair kitty

2- I'm super talkative and Meow all the time, I especially like to meow really load in the basement because it echos.

3- I don't like to be held.

4- When I was about 5 I was outside and I was attacked by a wild animal (most likely a fox). I had emergency surgery on my front leg and I broke blood vessels in my eye. So I get losta eye burgers on my white side on my face. Don't worry my leg is fine.

5- I don't get to go outside unless I'm on my harness and leash - Momma won't let me get attacked again.

6- I come to Dad when he calls me Stupid instead of my name Patch.

7- I luvs to play with catnip - I eats it.

My Holiday

Hello All! I'm back from my big weekend vacation. This is the longest one I've ever had with a whole three nights away. My Cousins Diesel and Bambi were there too! Let's see where do I begin?

On Friday afternoon we arrived at Eastport - the Eastern most city in the USA. I arrived just in time to enter a Pet Show where I took home 1st place for best in show! Can you believe it? I'm a show off Dog! Here I am accepting my blue ribbon and my big $10 prize.

On Saturday we went for Walkies ---
Ummm... I thinks these people have a spelling problem..... what the heck is a scall, urchin has a h ok, and I don't know anyone that wants an imp....
Diesel thinks he is somethin' special gettin' to climb the steps......
We had Strawberry shortcake in the park.

The big Navy ship was in to celebrate the holiday.
On Saturday night Momma said that I was ridiculous - whatever that means. I guess Diesel and I were naughty on our second trip down town for the day. We had taken a 5 hour nap and had lotsa energy. We were pullin on our leashes and actin' all crazy. Momma thinks we were feeding off everyone elses excitement since it was getting dark. We had these really cool glow stick collars on and unfortunately this is the only picture Momma got. Maybe that's were the energies were commin' from,

I always get the best seat in the house, even if I have to share with Bambi.

On Independence Day after getting some rest Diesel and I met new friends - like this big guy!

And MANGO was there...... he isn't nearly as big as everyone thinks, his Momma just photoshops him big.
I really enjoyed the parade this year........ Yup that's how exciting it was.

And on Sunday night Momma and Dad stayed at the house with us puppies while the others went to the Fireworks. Momma knew I would be scared so she sat down and fed us cheese to distract us all from the big booms and flashes.

So that was my holiday, I hope everyone was safe and enjoyed their extra time with their hoomans. I'm Sooo tired.... I need a vacation from my vacation!

My Doggie Weekend & my first award!

I had a great weekend and I am exhausted! On Saturday I participated in a local Parade fundraiser for our animal shelter. My best Friend Diesel and I were a team and along with our humans we raised $285! That is a lot of squeaky toys! This was important fundraiser for us because Diesel was adopted from this shelter. He is 5 now, but before he was 2 he was returned to the shelter twice because he was too big and had too much energy. Um, yeah some of us doggies are big and puppies have energy, duh. We met lots of cool doggies since there were over 150 dogs participating in the fundraiser and overall the shelter raised $30,000! Isn't that so cool? Here are some pictures from Saturday:

On Sunday I went to a local Canine Fair and met more doggies. This fair had vendors and demonstrations. Momma entered me in the photo contest too, but they haven't called us so I guess I didn't win any prizes :( But, momma bought me a new tug toy and bully sticks, so I'm happy.

The real exciting news is that I gave an interview for the local news station. Since the video is replaced every day Momma took some snapshots of my 3 seconds of fame. This is what I had to say:

I guess in the world of Fame and celebrities you only have a small window to express your opinions and introduce yourself. Momma says my 3 seconds fits me perfectly.

And, to top it all off I have received my first blog award from my new friends Shiloh & Chelsea! Thank you so much! I'm going to pass on my award soon.
