Momma made me some agility equipment. See she's cheap so she went to home depot and spent about 15 dollars on pvcs piping and elbows.
Then she cut the pipes into this many pieces....
And ta-da! Weave poles for me!
And a jump (with 2 different heights)
Seriously woman, I barely can clear that jump it's so high......
Here is a clip of me learning to do the jump. It's gonna take some work.
Maybe woo khan get some pointers from The RH!

ReplyDeleteI like that you can do a slow motion walk over the "jump". hehehe
I want to see a video of you going through the weave poles!
Holy Gwalk A Moley buddy... Your mom is brilliant... MY mom could NEVER do that.. she would prolly even try to stick it all together with 87 miles of DUCK tape or somethingy like that.
ReplyDeleteI think you did Super with that jumping thingy. I'm just sayin.
Tucker,
ReplyDeleteYour mom is very smart! I think I am gonna let my mom see dis so her can make me some agility equipment too! :)
Woof s and Licks,

PeeS Khyra's idea is a good one!
Hmmm. They must has been cheap when Sydney woz in physical therapy coz the used that PVC pipe stuffs stuck in those orange traffic cones to make hurdles fur her to trip ofur with her bad leg. But I bet your mom thought of it furst. Nice lift you has going there with your jumps!
ReplyDeleteJumping isn't easy. I still haven't figured it out. I just kind of hop between the posts and hope for the best.

Hey Tucker!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a pretty smart peep you've got there! I bet that stuff's fun. I think you did great...you never knocked down that pole.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
Can your Mom make some of those for us? It looks like fun. Amazing what one can do with a little PVC pipe - almost as versatile as duct tape:)

hi Tucker – sorry I haven't been Ms visiting for a while – I am behind and catching up again! My human has been so busy with househunting stuff that she hasn't had much time to help me with blog friends.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting that you are starting Agility! And you are so lucky to get your own set of equipment! I wish I had a big garden like you and other doggies like Mango so that I could get my own equipment too.
By the way, I am a 'lazy jumper' like you too – ha ha! I always step over rather than jump over if I can help it. Your human might want to start trying to only click you when you jump and not to reward you with click and treat when you just step over it (although she can encourage you with her voice) – because otherwise, you know us lazy Danes, if we think we can get away with doing it a lazy way, we will always do that! :-) That way, you will learn that the action she wanted you to do is to actually jump and that's what you get rewarded for.
Good luck and can't wait to hear more about it!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Tucker, what a great idea...
ReplyDeletemy human sometimes makes the agility equipment by using things like carton boxes to do the tunnell or a broom over some boxes to create a jump... but yours are real ones... looking forward to seeing you learning the weave pools... I am zero at them... never liked them!!!
I think you are very smart and simply do not want to show your human how great you can be at jumping if you just have a good reason to do so... Isn't that true?
Ciao Lucille
