I'm not sure if you remember but six weeks ago I started my 2nd obedience class. And guess what, I graduated! In the fall I can take advanced obedience. I have improved dramatically on my heel and my come. I've been doing so well with my loose leash walking that I haven't worn my easy walk harness for over 5 weeks.
My leg is doing much better and I've gotten in trouble multiple times for doing zoomies. One more week of rest and I'll be all set again.
I wanted to share my toothbrush with you. It's called the easybrush and what momma does is put a little doggie toothpaste on the brush part and gives it to me to chew on for 2 minutes. It works really well at cleaning my teeth in the back.
It's important to keep your teeth all clean and my lips tend to get in the way when Momma uses a regular toothbrush. This is a pretty good solution for both of us.
We'll have to check out that easy brush thing. Momma hates brushing my toofers.
ReplyDeleteGood progress on your obedience. Those classes are BORING! I used to go and after fifteen minutes all I wanted to do was down stay.

Hey Tucker,
ReplyDeleteThat's all great news! We're so proud of ya for graduating and not havin' to wear your harness.
Great idea with the toofbrush. I don't think it'll fits in our mouth though.

Stella, Gunther and Betty
Wow, congratulations on the completion of the second class! And thank you so much for sharing something so valuable. I'll have my mommy look into it.

Grats on the graduation! That's a pretty neat brush... we've tried the regular brush and it's just a big fight.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on graduating! That is a cool toofer brush!
ReplyDeleteWags and Licks,
Mollie Jo & Bobo
congratulations Tucker on graduating!
ReplyDeleteAnd we're glad to hear your leg is feeling better! Let it rest a little longer before any zoomies though just to be sure!!
And thanks for this Easy Brush info! Darwin's not a fan of teeth brushing and though we give her raw bones to chew this could be a good nightly treat!
I've seen those at the pet store, good to know that they work! Brusha, brusha, brusha!! And congrats on the obedience! One word of advice - be careful how well you do, these silly two leggers just keep expecting more!!

Congratulations on your graduation! I know how difficult those classes can be - especially for Great Danes. Not that Danes aren't as smart as other dogs... just... well... Danes have less intell...ummm... nevermind. Maybe its just my Dane (or his trainer - ME!)
ReplyDeleteI might try one of those easybrush things for Remi - he tends to destroy other tooth brushes, and since that doesn't appear to be made of steel, I'm not sure how long it would last either, but if you didn't destroy it within two minutes (we rely on your Toy Test Tuesdays a lot to see what will work for Remi) then its got to be worth a try. Thanks!
What an interesting toothbrush, Tucker! I have never seen one of those before!
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats for graduating to Advanced Obedience~! (Not that I had any doubts that you wouldn't, of course!) - Way to go for showing that us Danes can do things too and not only look pretty or be couch potatoes! :-)
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
